The 17th China International Battery Fair (CIBF 2025) opened this week at the Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center, showcasing cutting-edge advancements in the global battery and energy storage industry.

BANGQI Technology, a global leader in unmanned factory solutions, made a major splash with its mobile robotics portfolio and eight groundbreaking all-scenario unmanned solutions for new energy manufacturing, demonstrating the deep integration and large-scale application of AI technology in smart battery production.

Innovative All-Scenario Solutions: Building Unmanned Factories for Battery Smart Manufacturing

At the exhibition, BANGQI highlighted eight core unmanned applications, including automated dock unloading, cell auxiliary material unpacking, foil unpacking, overhead transport (OHT) systems, aerial conveying, AI visual quality inspection, integrated storage-picking systems, and autonomous yard vehicles. These cover critical stages from material intake to in-plant logistics, quality control, and warehousing, forming a seamless closed-loop system.

BANGQI’s new solutions are built on its self-developed industrial AI mini-models, LDS unmanned production coordination system, ADS multi-brand robot scheduling system, and MOM manufacturing management platform. The highly modular and flexible architecture adapts to power batteries, energy storage batteries, 3C batteries, and other production lines, eliminating the need for core system recoding when swapping modules.

Key innovations include:

Automated Dock Unloading: Supports multi-path AGV fork-rail, wing-van, tailgate, achieving "zero-wait" logistics docking and cutting truck dwell time to near zero.

Intelligent Unpacking Systems: For cell auxiliary materials and foils, using AI vision and robotic manipulation to reduce manual labor and boost efficiency while preventing micro-tears through tension control.

Aerial Conveying & OHT: Overhead rail systems bypass ground logistics bottlenecks, enhancing cleanliness and stability in cleanroom environments.

AI Visual Quality Inspection: High-precision image recognition detects surface and structural defects in milliseconds, minimizing false rejects and missed inspections.

Multi-Dimensional Cost Savings and Efficiency Gains

Data shows BANGQI’s AI unmanned solutions achieve 90% overall automation rates, 50% labor cost reduction, 30% hardware investment savings, and 10% production capacity increase. With over 1,000 smart manufacturing projects deployed globally, the company serves industries including new energy, automotive, pharmaceuticals, 3C electronics, and cross-border e-commerce.

"After deploying our systems, clients see improved production flexibility, stable cycle times, and higher first-pass yields," said a BANGQI representative at the fair. By integrating management, logistics, and execution layers, the company addresses long-standing pain points—labor management, material flow inefficiencies, and quality control challenges—laying the technical foundation for "low-human" and "unmanned" manufacturing.

BANGQI’s client roster includes CATL, EVE Energy,AESC,JinkoSolar,SF, DHL, Sunwoda, and UAES—mostly Fortune Global 500 firms or industry leaders. The company operates mature delivery systems in China, North America, Europe, and Southeast Asia, forming a global AI smart manufacturing ecosystem.

Strategic Vision: From Single-Point Automation to Systemic Unmanned Manufacturing

The CIBF 2025 showcase underscores BANGQI ’s ambition to lead the next wave of factory digitization—shifting from isolated robotic applications to plant-wide autonomous orchestration. As lithium-ion pack prices decline and Western competitors scale up, analysts say such systemic automation could help manufacturers protect margins and accelerate efficiency upgrades.

"AI is driving a supercycle in manufacturing," the company noted. "Early adopters will gain a decisive competitive edge." Looking ahead, BANGQI plans to intensify R&D, refining solutions for high-mix, small-batch production scenarios in solid-state batteries and stationary energy storage. By focusing on AI-driven systemic innovation, the company aims to redefine smart manufacturing paradigms and empower global clients in the ongoing intelligent transformation wave.
